OUR DAY IN ANITKABİR

We went to Anıtkabir as a group last weekend. We enjoyed this trip very much.  We have good memories from the last weekend and this trip was exciting. 

    We started our journey at Anadolu Metro Station and we walked towards Anıtkabir. On our way, we saw the lion sculptures and flowers.They were amazing. 

    After 10 minutes we arrived at the stairs of Anıtkabir. We went into Anıtkabir. There was both a sad and proud atmosphere. We were deeply affected.

    After we stayed in Anıtkabir about 15 minutes, we left and took photos on the stairs. Then we visited the "Atatürk and the War of Independence Museum" where the historical events were revived. It was so crowded which made it difficult to spend a long time there.  We saw models that were representing historical events. And also we saw Atatürk's official car, Atatürk's lovely dog Foks, some personal belongings of Atatürk, and pictures of Atatürk.

    Then we left the museum and walked around the big square and admired the view. 

  If you get the chance to see Anıtkabir on day, please take it! And if it's possible, visit there on weekdays because of the crowd at weekends. And the good part is this whole trip is completely free!
